Kelly Keane-Tuala is the founder, director and senior facilitator at Te Awa Māori. Kelly is co-creator of Kupu o te Rā and has more than 15 years lecturing experience at Te Herenga Waka Victoria University of Wellington.
Te Awa Māori have been teaching te reo online since 2009 and are also the preferred provider for Waka Kotahi and Manatū Hauora for Māori Professional Development.

Our online programme has been running since 2009 and we have taught students from all around the world, including London, France, Japan, Hawaii, Australia and New Zealand.
Along with 1000minds we co-own and operate Te Kupu o te Rā , which is a free Māori language resource.
We also provide translation services and only use translators who are recognised by the National Translators’ and Interpreters’ Register at Te Taura Whiri i te reo Māori.
